Haruka Ooyama is the daughter of Goro Ooyama and Nagisa Tsukikage. She is the love interest of Toma Tachibana and Soichiro Tachibana. After breaking her arm she becomes the Meisei Baeball team's trainier.
Personality[]
Haruka is kind and supportive. She loves baseball. She is knowledgeable, opportunistic, and optismistic. She isn't afraid to speak her mind and she cares about everyone around her.
Overview[]
Haruka moved from Kyushu to Meisei with her father, Goro, at the end of her Junior High career. She met Tachibanas mainly through her father. She is a rhythmic gymnast, the coach is often yelling for her to get back to practice because she is off yelling tips to the baseball team. While collecting data on one of the teams, Haruka sits on a old referee chair, she falls, and breaks her arm. Due to the injury, she can no longer participate in gymnastics so she becomes the Baseball team's trainer.
She and Soichiro often argue because of their clashing personalities, she claims he only sees the very next step while she is looking to the future. While she and Toma tend to get along better. Both boys have feelings for her, but she treats both as friends.
Toma and Haruka met when they were three years old at Toma's mother's funeral. He had been making a lot of noise and she got mad and dumped her soda on him for that, causing him to cry. Toma doesn't remember the interaction, but she does and claims that they were childhood friends.
Haruka loves puzzles and often can't stop thinking about them until she gets the answer, causing her to take Toma out on a "walk".
Overall, she is a great trainer, she sees the overall picture and does everything that she can for the team.
