Mayumi Sawai later known as Mayumi Tachibana is a side character of the Mix: Meisei Story. She is the mother of Soichiro Tachibana and Otomi Tachibana, the step-mother of Toma Tachibana, and wife of Eisuke Tachibana.
Personality[]
Mayumi is loving and talkative, she is very open with family situation. She doesn't care for baseball but is very supportive of her children. She is happy and takes pride in her kids. She is friendly and welcoming to everyone.
Overview[]
Mayumi does not know or understand much about baseball but she supports her children playing and loving the sport. Later on in the series she purchases a book to help her understand the rules so that she could better understand what her family loves. She is very open about her life and shares that with the neighborhood. During the final game in the anime, while watching it from home, a burglar tries to break in, only to be stopped by Haruka Ooyama's mother. The two women sit down and watch the game together, Haruka's mother explaining when to cheer to Mayumi, falling into a tenative friendship.
